Our Story
The Story Behind Rachel Rock
Rachel Rock Healthcare Staffing was inspired by the life, faith, and example of Rachel—a woman whose compassion, resilience, and commitment to caring for others continue to shape the values of our organization today.
Throughout her life, Rachel devoted herself to caring for her aging parents, supporting her husband through illness, and serving her family and community with kindness, dignity, and unwavering dedication. Through every season of caregiving, she found strength in her faith and often says she could not have done it without the Lord being her Rock.
The name Rachel Rock carries a special meaning. It was inspired by a stone selected from the shores of Lake Superior at Pancake Bay, Ontario. Chosen from among many rocks along the shoreline, it was placed upon a larger rock and observed as powerful waves swept across the water. While the waves covered many of the surrounding rocks, this one remained protected because it stood upon something higher and stronger. Oh, the beauty of it.
Today, that same message continues to guide Rachel Rock Healthcare Staffing. We are committed to supporting healthcare organizations, healthcare professionals, individuals, and families with compassion, professionalism, and dependable care. Our name reflects the foundation upon which we were built—a belief in service, resilience, faith, and the importance of being a source of strength for others when they need it most.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Rachel Rock Healthcare Staffing was founded by Ndakaiteyi Magunda Siriya, a dedicated healthcare professional, entrepreneur, and author whose passion for service has been shaped by years of experience in nursing and caregiving.
As Rachel's daughter, Ndakaiteyi witnessed firsthand the compassion, resilience, and unwavering commitment that defined her mother's life. Inspired by those values and guided by her own experiences in healthcare, she envisioned an organization that would connect qualified healthcare professionals with the individuals, families, and organizations that depend on quality care.
Throughout her nursing career, Ndakaiteyi has had the privilege of caring for people during some of the most important moments of their lives. These experiences deepened her understanding of the vital role that compassionate and dependable healthcare professionals play in supporting patients, families, and communities.
In addition to her work in healthcare, Ndakaiteyi is the author of Handpicked: The Godden Matanga Story, a work that reflects her commitment to faith, purpose, and personal growth. She is also developing Handpicked into a broader brand dedicated to inspiring and empowering others through meaningful stories and experiences.
